PayPal Sees The Err Of Their Ways

Exactly 2-months ago, to the day, my PayPal account was banned.  Paypal decided that they were going to hold my $5,000 balance for six-months to cover any possible credit-card chargebacks, and they denied my request(s) to appeal.  I finally convinced them to return my $5k balance, I switched to Google-Checkout and things have been going just fine ever since.  I proved to myself and to the thousands of people that have read about my ugly PayPal saga here in my blog, that life does go on without PayPal….

…Then today I got a call on the iPhone… and a voicemail at home… and a voicemail on the business number… and an email..  It was a very nice lady from the PayPal Office of Executive Escalations (whaa?!) – She told me that she was contacting me in response to some concerns that I had raised in my blog (hey, PayPal reads my blog!  *waves to PayPal*).  She explained the “limiting account” process (aka BANNING) a bit, and told me that after further review, Paypal was reversing their decision to “limit” (aka BAN) my account – and all that was necessary to UN-ban and restore my account was to agree-to, and sign the PayPal Acceptable Use Affidavit – basically swearing to abide-by and uphold the PayPal TOS and user-agreement.  I signed-in to my PayPal account, clicked on a new link that appeared for me to sign the affidavit, read the rules and user agreement, and digitally signed it – and just like that, I was no longer banned from PayPal.   My unappealable, un-reverasable ban had been appealed and reversed.

Paypal banned account restored

So I guess this proves a few things:  Paypal is not a totally-blind, totally unresponsive organization – they apparently have some processes in place to catch at least some of the mistakes or borderline/salvageable customers.  It took a few months, but hey, it worked in my case.  Although based on my research and even from what my Executive Escalations lady told me, 99% of banned Pay Pal accounts are NOT reversible – there is still that 1% chance at getting reinstated and it looks like PayPal does try to save that 1% if possible.   So if your PayPal account becomes “limited” (banned), AND you didn’t break the rules, don’t give up.  Make some noise, call them, email them, and hope and pray that you’re part of that 1%.. If you did break the rules – forget it.. But if you didn’t, or if as in my case, it was ‘borderline’/arguable, don’t give up.

So the question is, will I keep using PayPal now that I’m not banned?

YES… and NO….Maybe…I dunno.. Depends…. For sending money, absolutely – Like it or not, PayPal is the king when it comes to sending money.  During the time I was banned, my biggest problem was not being able to send money.  I created an ePassporte account to pay for our new logo, and it sucked.  So for SENDING money, PayPal will get all of my business.. There really is no other choice.   For receiving money?  I’m still undecided…  Google-Checkout has been working flawlessly for us.  GoogleCheckout deposits my funds almost immediately into my bank-account so I don’t have to worry about my funds being “seized” as PayPal did with my $5k, and the GoogleCheckout fraud detection system (so far) seems superior PayPal’s – so for now at least I think we’ll stick with GoogleCheckout – We may use PayPal for members/customers that have issues with GoogleCheckout (we’ve had a few complaints), and if we have enough demand for it, maybe we’ll resume a modified PayPal Premium Membership subscription service like we had before.

For a Tuesday, it wasn’t such a bad day…

1. Papal is absolutely crooked. They have stolen, or in thier words, “limited”, thousands of accounts for no just cause and held peoples money indefinitely.

Paypal as a business has had thousands of complaints to Attorney Generals offices throughout America and they have been sued and lost countless times.

After using Paypal for 6 years they finally screwed me and now I will never use them again. Hopefully Google checkout or something similar will destroy Paypal for good!

1. Talen, I totally agree with you, I am an honest person buying and selling on different platforms and sites always using Paypal as my source of money to complete all of my transactions from the time I started with PayPal back in 2003. I even prided myself with their exceptional customer support(cough cough) in any charges that I incurred due to another’s fraudulent activity. Also was so blinded by my not fully understanding how much power i gave to paypal, I even went as far as setting up other people, friends, associates, ect with a paypal account, ranting about how good they are. Boom! Then after using paypal for receiving a money transfer I got the memo, “account limited”. What the &*%#? What did I do? So I immediately got on the phone to straighten this out. At this time I thought “This has got to be a mistake”, I can fix this, right? I mean I have been a customer of paypal for over 15 years, 15 years with a perfect record…. a few mishaps, but all ending up in my favor. All this doesn’t matter, Paypal does not care, they are a scam and use you and your money for their gain. I don’t have the time to go through all the extensive work emailing a ton of people to state my side of the case because my time is very valuable, and even with a limited life expectancy, to them, it doesn’t matter. They know they are the one and only company with all the means to do any and all sorts of different money transactions……their is no other company, yet, to do all of the things that they can do. Hopefully soon, this will change. I only hope that I’m still around to see this happen. I do not like the fact that they think they are all high and mighty doing what they want with your money for 180 days, its vulgar display of power. I will never use paypal again. I just hope more people see these blogs and posts before signing up with the crooks at paypal, and more companies start seeking other forms of financial solutions to help grow their business. Thank you in advance for reading this

2. I couldn’t have said it better myself. I have been screwed countless times by them, and now they have banned my account as if I am the one with the questionable business practices. As of 2020 they will finally no longer be affiliated.

2. This kind of thing has been happening a lot recently.

basically if something annoys you about a service…. blogging about it is one of the most effective ways to reverse the problems 🙂

Power to the blogger….

3. I’ve had problems with PayPal in the past.

Someone managed to get into my account and send all my money (about $400) to another account. I did get the money back but it took an age and PayPal were very unhelpful.

4. Guess it didn’t hurt that your DP friends were linking to your story from their blogs and making sure your article was “seeing the light” 🙂

Not to mention the comments some friendly guy left about filing a legal claim against Paypal to recover your funds 🙂 🙂

Anyway, glad to hear you got your funds released. Now maybe if somebody could help me get Google to stop listing my blog as “Could harm your computer” in the SERPS (even though I’m still #1 for most of my keywords it’s killing my traffic). I know it’s all because I wrote a few truthful yet scathing articles about G!+Adsense and I even engaged M@ttC^tts on his blog but, oh well… Some fights you win, others you lose and even though I am sporting a black eye in round 1, a real fighter can always go the distance !!!

Peace out…

5. I remember it was Sunday morning when I red your (important) story about your encounter with paypal (then another article about going with and after that the one with positive result afterwards). Initially the story actually disturbed my whole day, and so beyond a bit. Until then I experienced only one minor glitch with them and I thought it’s needed for my own security (which could be so as I logged into my account while being on overseas trip and the account was frozen the next day but I kind of liked it as in a way it felt safe – luckily I payed for your ebook before that day:). I am happy paypal overturned the original decision for you now. I don’t understand why they couldn’t email ahead to you, especially to the business making a good business to them. Obviously not a totally good policy as it seems.

Well because the dealing with paypal is of a great importance to me too, your insight post made me to act and so I had broaden my google account also with Google’s Checkout whilst since to my very nice surprise this precaution made my web site transferring extra money my way. I am not using subscriptions. So there you go, it was one good move for me too. And as they say, “can’t do without a healthy competition” anymore. All the best.

6.
Any following news on this? I just red all of these posts with interest.
nothing else to say really.. They un-banned my account and gave back all my money – but i’ve switched to GoogleCheckout for payment processing at the site, and only use Paypal for occasional purchases.. i just cant find it in myself to trust them with any significant amount of money – you know, after they basically tried screwing me for no reason and all..

7. I used paypal for years for my other company, Studio One Wellness Center ( and now for Tierra. Apparently, massage therapy fell into their Adult AUP violation. We did nothing wrong. Arguing with them about it has produced nothing. I am now looking to work with others screwed by PayPal to start a class action law suit for infringement. If interested, contact me. I am also writing a letter to the state and federal attorney generals offices, and congressional reps. If anyone is an attorney and wants to take this case, let me know!

1. Im with you ob the Class Action for AUP violations. It is insane that a company is able to kidnap your funds on erroneous and unmitigated grounds. I need my money back now. *sigh*

8. How to get your money out of your frozen paypal account

I would like to help people who can’t get their money out of PayPal account. First educate yourself about what PayPal is doing by holding your money in a frozen account. Then write a friendly reminder demanding letter to PayPal to let them know that you know your rights, and demand your money without any exception.

Let’s educate ourselves first:

1 – By holding your money in a PayPal account for 180 days, PayPal is manipulating their stock prices. WHY? Think critically….A publicly traded company needs to keep their stock prices as high as possible, so they can get free money from the investors, and stockholders(completely free money). THIS IS A NASTY WALL STREET GAME…If a publicly traded company doesn’t have enough money/asset to keep their Stock prices high, they can try to cheat/manipulate their Financial Statements by either understating their liabilities/expenses OR overstating their asset account.

In this case, PayPal is overstating their Asset account by holding your money, and showing it as a proof to SEC. If your money and thousand of others’ money frozen in different PayPal accounts, money is in present and a proof to SEC, showing they have so much Cash. Thus this will keep their stock prices high, so EBAY’s CEO and other big shots can receive extra hundreds of millions of dollars as a bonus for that period. Do you see their Nasty GAME?

You can write a letter to Securities Exchange Commissions(SEC) to let exactly know what they are doing, and how PayPal is stealing your money for 180 days.

This is a VERY BIG CRIME that a Publicly Traded Company can play, and believe me, if you file a complaint to the SEC, the government will go after PayPal for misleading action. Don’t think that SEC will ignore your complaint. Because, it is SEC’s job to investigate these types of cases, to protect the market and the public.

SEC is very sensitive about these Publicly traded companies’ crimes which Manipulates their Financial Statements. If you file a complaint, be confident that SEC will investigate this, and they will have a pressure to change their policies, and will pay FINE.

2 – According to the Federal Anti-Trust law, PayPal CAN NOT hold customers’ money for 180 days without no real reason, unless you were selling illegal drugs, illegal items, or you were scamming your customers. You can file a complaint to your state’s Office of Attorney General, & the NEBRASKA office of Attorney General, and many other states’ office of attorney general that you sold your items.

3 – You can also, send a complaint to your state representatives to let them know how PayPal is screwing your business by holding your money for 180 days. So, if politicians receive complaining, they eventually take action to regulate the market, which PayPal hates to experience.

Now, you know what PayPal hates to see. You sit down and customize my letter for your situation and submit it to below email addresses. It is your earned money and they have no right to hold your money without your permission. You give them only 48 hours to contact you to release your money, otherwise you tell them that you will be taking an action and filing complaint to SEC which is their GOD, and many other states offices of Attorney Generals including your state representatives.

Here is the email addresses that you can send your email for your demanding friendly reminder letter to PayPal:;;;;;;;; ;;;

Here is my letter, you can customize this letter for your story and send it to above email addresses:

To whom it may concern,
I am respectfully requesting that the hold on my funds/account be lifted. I am requesting my account to be re-opened so, I might close the account without any open issues left behind me with PayPal, as I have already taken my business to your largest competitor and am no longer in need of PayPal’s services.
I have previously requested a review/appeal of my case which was denied on the phone. I will not comply with your requests for further documents, or shipments I have been completed. However because I feel that holding my funds for 180 days for a non-fraudulent violation of PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy is excessive, and perhaps a punitive abuse of power, I will be filing complaints with the following agencies on Monday morning, March 16, 2009 if I am not satisfied with PayPal’s response to this request to release my funds and lift the restriction on my account:

why they may be interested in such complaints)

The Better Business Bureau:

Additionally: I will send detailed information to my State representatives to stop non-fraudulent violation of PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy which is excessive, and perhaps a punitive abuse of power.
New Hampshire Senate: Shaheen, Jeanne
Tel: (202) 224-2841

New Hampshire Senate: Gregg, Judd
Tel: (202) 224-3324…

ADDITIONALLY: I will file my complaint to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to let them know how Pay-Pal/E-Bay holds Millions of dollars in customers’ Pay-Pal accounts by freezing the customers’ accounts/money to show more Assets, Cash Flow, Earnings in their Financial Statements to mislead the Government, Stock Holders, Investors, Bond Holders and its customers.…66f/ar2007.pdf

All complaints will be filed “online” by Monday morning March 16, 2009 and
written copies will also be sent via certified postal mail.
I understand PayPal’s need for holding funds for credit card chargeback purposes; however a review of my account history will reveal that I have no chargebacks as well as a very high customer-satisfaction rate. I feel that any reasonable person would conclude that restricting my PayPal account for 180 days is freezing my business and might be viewed by some as punitive or as already stated, an unnecessary abuse of power and perhaps even contrary to the laws of most of the states as well as Federal government.
Please be aware that replying with the standard “this is part of the terms of service that you agreed to” will not satisfy my request, or deter me from filing my complaints with the agencies listed above on Monday morning March 16, 2009. It will be up to those agencies to determine if PayPal is operating within the law, abusing power, etc. I am simply seeking a resolution that is fair and in the best interest of both parties.
Thank you for your time in looking into this matter.

By the way, thanks to Randy Brown who had a similar letter in his website, and I improved his letter which helped me to get my money out of PayPal frozen account.

9. hello
i am in the UK & my girlfriend has had her paypal account limited with her balance withheld, now she has been using paypal for a few years now & is no criminal but paypal are making it sound like she is! the amount is only £300 to £400 but i don’t think she should lose out of her money & i am going to try to help her with this. Any tips & advice would be welcome.

10. does anyone have copies of letters they prepared for the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau etc. that they would be willing to share?

11. Just found these posts after googling to see if anyone had had the same problem I’d had. I’m not a business, just a regular chap selling stuff from the attic on eBay. I’ve had the account for 4 years, used it regularly, 93 100%+ feedback on eBay all good. Then bam! Account limited, please provide a mass of evidence – which I did then – then, please pay an outstanding balance on a previous account – oh dear. I asked for the breakdown of what was owed and when as this was from 6 years ago, told me a Direct Debit bounced… I apologised and paid but a few days later my account hadn’t reactivated as promised. I phoned them and was told, ‘oh sorry your account has been reviewed and we don’t want your business’ I couldn’t beleive it. Logged into eBay, account also suspended. I just couldn’t believe it, I can’t even buy anything now, and dare not set another account up. I tried explaining that the old account used an email address from my previous work that I lost access and so didn’t think it mattered setting up a new account plus it was so long ago… I just can’t believe they are so quick to throw customers away, and so unwilling to listen to reason! I’ve no choice but to use eBid now which seems no where near as popular…

1. My account got limited and they asked for several informations like proof of Adress, photo ID and bank statement which i provided. Yet still they limited my account. If you have to limit my account you have to tell me where i went wrong. I never went weong in. Anyway. Its my Money i choose to spend it how i want to. I actually thought it because am in Africa. But i will have to have a big african blog for this.
Am really just disappointed because i cant buy on ebay whuch has been my Major market for goods.

12. My account was permanently limited today because I perform technical services for a web designer (things like DNS, cPanel management, etc) for a person who designs websites. The kicker is, *his* clients are escort services, so when he’d need DNS changed for a domain, he would put the domain name in the subject. I guess I got caught up in a keyword search of some sort, but the idea that I’d lose access to PayPal and eBay *forever* because of the tertiary connection I have to something PayPal finds objectionable is ridiculous. I understand that they don’t want people using paypal to collect payment for things like escort services, but to limit someone’s account permanently, with no warning, for simply doing technical work such as this is disturbing.

eBay is just Amazon for poor people anyways. At least Amazon has good customer service, something that definitely CANNOT be said for eBay.

13. I HAVE THE SAME problem…MY ACCOUNT is permanently limited since dec 20 2012… over and over again they say same shit. i used to sell electronics, clothing. before i started i asked them they said yes u can but for some stupid customers charge back after 2 months later…after they receive the item..they filed charge back….all of a sudden several charge backs even they got the items but they filed after 2/3 months later. As paypal told me..for several charge back/dispute files by customers, paypal has limited my act and said its permanent and they cannot provide services. they even said its not me i did something..its because i have some charge backs/disputes filed by customers..but i didn’t collect..its the customer paid by credit card..paypal collected the money and deposit in my papal act. later customer got the item ad filed chargeback after 2 months…now iam very angry caz i cant use ebay where as i run business long timeeeeeeeeeeeee……..i want to sue too…now i cant list item at ebay…i have payza but to list i need to have paypal.i wont use their service anyways but i need to be cleared as i became victimmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

14. well you are lucky they banned my account for a life! and what is the reason! Nothing some how they decide to limited my account and after they require some papers. I sent all of it. i wait…i wait more…. i sent them e-mail…a machine send me a answer..i called after half an hour wait finally a human pick up to phone and he said they banned me for a life! i asked the reason and he said actually nothing! just bullshits and i ask what can i do to remove it. What document they want i dont know something! answer is u cant do anything! my 2400$ still in that paypal account! and i cant take it! BE CAREFUL when u suing paypal!!!!!!!! actually dont use it!

1. I just got banned and found this blog post. I couldn’t believe it.. they said i’m a risk, risk??? I’m too much of a chicken to do anything risky. all and all they told me i’m banned forever and i can’t dispute it because it’s “permanent.” They won’t tell me why because it’s proprietary. I provided everything they wanted and guess what? they don’t care for me. I just hope this doesn’t effect me if there is a background check.

15. Ha ha, so they called you because they saw your blog, kissed your butt, and now your are friends again. Happy end indeed 😉 “It took a few months, but hey, it worked in my case.” hilarious 😀

16. paypal banned my account and didn’t even give a me formal reason why and they just stated that i was in violation of AUP. I complied with them in every so much way and emailed them several times. They suck man…it just very frustrating when the world relies on paypal and when you get banned its curtains for you thats it….its like being casted of a city and you have no where to go but to travel the desert. Now i have to rely on another payment processing method which the others don’t compare to paypal. Makes me so upset that they did that and i have thought of alot things that i would like to do to them and bring paypal to their knees but i am just one individual on a warpath. Wepay here i come!!!!!

17. We have a small shelter of taking care of animals, we take them out from streets, we feed them , we treat them , we take them to the vet and find them owners.
Recently paypal closed our account because “we sell sexual content on skype” thats BS because we dont, we just recive donations from pet lovers all around the world for food, treament and care.
We did all that paypal asked us, we uploaded documents, proofs, verify account and when i wanted to withdraw bang they limited, i completed the steps for unblocking they unblocked my account and then i wanted to withdraw again then bam another permanent limitation that can’t be appealed.
Paypal is playing with us, and we have a cat in surgery that lost his eye being hit by a car and the costs are enormous and we cant handle them by ourselfs so thats why we asked for paypal help but instead they closed it and acused us and they are helding our money for 180 days.
A lot of poor souls will be lost because of this.

1. That’s ridiculous. Not trying to make light of what happened to you but perhaps you referred to one of the cats as pussy! It’s disheartening when you’re doing something as you are from the heart and someone makes life unnecessarily difficult. I hope you are able to find some way to keep going. Unfortunately, my budget is tight being a student but If I win lotto, I’ll seek you out. Cheers

18. PayPal has turned away a lot of our clients due to insane reasons. We make big attempts to help them get back on to continue business as normal. It has been a constant pain having to deal with the customer service that PayPal hires.

19. PayPal have limited my account after being a customer for 15 years. They are linking my account to my brothers. Talking to my brother his account was limited due to too many of the same type of buyer disputes (him being the buyer on eBay). He has had a lot of sellers who have tried to scam him (he does look for bargains on ebay) which means if the product does not turn up or is not as described he generates a case with PayPal. Surley it is up to PayPal and eBay to ensure these scammers can’t sell on eBay rather then punishing the genuine person.

On the other hand, why restrict my access to PayPal, we are 2 different people and PayPal have documents from both of us. Ok we share the same PCs and live at the same address but as I have had no such issues how can they limit my account! They are holding over 7k in finds too. Talking to customer service gets you no where and you can clearly tell they don’t even want to talk to you with their responses!

20. So heres what you do… Open a new account, deposit 1500 or so in it. Spend the money, then reverse the charges. When your money is back in paypal, transfer it to your account. Then, let paypal limit your account. get your money back one way or the other!

1. I had mine cancelled for life because they deemed I’d done something fraudulent by withdrawing all of the amount in my account. I tried to get it reversed countless times but to no avail. I’ve been told by friends to open a new account but no one seems to know if it needs to be a new username as well as a different bank account. I just want to purchase an item which is only a few dollars and can’t because they insist on PayPal.

1. Everything about you is stored in their database. Name, Address, and Bank Account. So change your address and get a new bank account, or forget it.

Former Paypal User

21. Hi There,

I was read 3 articles from you but I’m still don’t understand why they banned you? At your first post it seems you sold something? what is your product? I’m just curious, and want to more careful.

I’m banned too in 2009, and I only need to call Paypal, and in 5 minutes they’re un-banned me.

22. You are responsible for any damages suffered by PayPal or any third parties resulting from your failure to follow the rules of the PayPal Advertising Program, and if you violate these rules, PayPal may modify or remove the PayPal content you are presenting or require you to remove or modify it immediately.

23. Nice Read, echoes what I’m going through right now. I predominantly sell on eBay ( a Power seller, with 100% positive feedback). They made my paypal account limited because someone claimed that I’m selling a counterfeit product, guess what the product they claimed as fake, is as genuine as it gets, I have written to twice now. Both times, with all documents to prove what I sell is as legit as it gets. The first time, I received the usual machine response, however the second time, it’s been nearly three days now and I haven’t heard from them yet. I’m hoping they’re taking a close look at what I sent this time. Now, because I sell on eBay, I do not have an alternative to PayPal and have to rely on them. I shall update you if I see a ray of hope

24. Glad I’m not the only PayPal violator. Here is the best part, although my product is high-risk, I did not make one transaction with PayPal! Yes not one! It was only a payment option on my blog for the product! Now top that one, lol! So from this article I am assuming all I need to do is bug them and hope they allow me back. Aside from the one you listed what other vendors are available for sellers?

25. Here’s the joke about Paypal’s banning over AUP… they can’t!
Your paypal account is your email account! Anybody could just create a fake site called “” and put a big paypal button with anyone’s email on it, just as a setup for paypal to act on you. There’s no authentication to protect you.

Best course of action is to get or figure out some paypal staff paypal emails and create fake sites that are against AUP and feed them their own medicine until they realize you can’t ban accounts for AUP unless you can prove the actual owner of the email owns the site… otherwise they should be accountable for allowing this form of cyber terrorism.

26. I’ve been with Paypal since 2000. Never had any problems. Our account was limited ten days before Christmas. My account manager said she didn’t know why and couldn’t help. Talked with two “specialists” through their chat and was told they didn’t know why, and that they felt bad, but Paypal had decided that they no longer want to do business with us. We have a family-owned bike shop specializing in cycles for handicapped and disabled riders, and Paypal doesn’t want to do business with us.
All of my emails have gone unanswered. I have mailed their Legal Dept, as I was told that is my only recourse, and have yet to hear anything from them.

27. Oh I’m so lucky to get banned before PayPal got my future income. I am just about to start my business. I just got banned completely from PayPal for the maximum 180 days. I did help a friend out, and received a few payments for them, as they said that they can’t use paypal because of their religion. Maybe I made a mistake with this and was too kind. PayPal just sent me the standard email that others here also got. So I really don’t know why I got banned. Maybe my balance goes to zero too often. But Paypal state that a zero balance is ok. I have my bank accounts linked. But sometimes they have also been zero. But I usually fix the outstanding payments when the funds aren’t available. A few have bounced a long time ago when I missed some when I wasn’t well. This may actually be a blessing in disguise, as I am currently preparing for my new business and will be very wary of the payment processor that I connect with. I really feel for everyone else here. Fortunately my balance was already zero, so I didn’t lose my money as a result of this ban. I mostly use my paypal for personal and business educational use. But I really feel for all the ebay merchants here and those that really need their hard earned money, that Paypal is unfairly holding. Can anyone make good suggestions on alternatives and do they come with these issues too. Is Stripe better? And what are ebay sellers meant to do!

28. Has anyone sued PayPal over this nonsense?

It isn’t just a matter of not being able to have them as a payment source on your website. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can’t run an eBay business.

PayPal banned me in early 2018. I am a Naturopathic healthcare provider and have a website that sells vitamin supplements. I had listed a couple of hemp, non THC, CBD products on my website. I actually never even sold any. The products were listed there for about a month. Suddenly, without warning, I get an email from PayPal saying that I violated their terms by selling vape, ecigg and illegal substances. WTF!?! My account was terminated with no chance of appeal.

This cost me my ebay store which net over $80,000 average per year consistently since 2010. It cost me all of the patients and clients that preferred to use PayPal when shopping on my website. It caused me great embarrassment to have to tell them that I could no longer offer PayPal as a payment option because I was banned.

Also, Paypal’s accusation that I was selling illegal substances, thats one helluva defamation right there.

To make matters even worse, did you know that although you can shop on ebay without PayPal, if the seller has to refund you, it goes to PayPal via your email address and you will never see the money. Sellers can’t refund to credit cards, they can only refund to PayPal. As of 5/2019 that is the case. Supposedly eBay is working to make their site be able to work without PayPal at all.

29. This very important issue company like PayPal not following any laws especially related to banking laws, in my case my PayPal account freeze for no reason and not allow me to withdraw hard earned money that I selling through Ebay, I called PayPal they told they can hold anybody’s money for 6 months for no reason and they can hold another 6 month if necessary, I’m not sure which banking law they following and allow this do.

There many people who sells through Ebay force to use PayPal for no reason, Ebay not allow competition and I think it is against the law I know sellers who used PayPal made their life upside down by PayPal practices of hold money for no reason. I think this holding money altogether in a day will be billions of dollars and Paypal use it for their business and makes money. Holding money; evil and unlawful practice is main source of income of Paypal the EVIL company.

Need to stop PayPal evil practice.

30. I was able to get both my personal and business PayPal accounts fully restored! I hired a great attorney who wrote letter to the New York State Dept. of Financial Services. It was a fight (44 days) but I’m back in with PayPal. Praise the Lord!
